From the Editor

Well, the election’s behind us and while our new President gets down to the business of governing, those of us here at Capital Living are ecstatic about the capital community’s next big thing - Candlelight! The crisp air, carolers and shopping specials are enough to put a spring in anyone’s step. And this year, Candlelight lasts all weekend! Of course, if Candlelight isn’t your thing (pity the descendants of Ebenezer Scrooge) you won’t have to look far to find a great time. The Kentucky Book Fair and Bow Wow Meow Art Auction are just a couple of events planned for the next couple of weeks and you’ll find even more in the pages of this edition. If you’d rather stay at home, we hope you’ll enjoy reading about Frankfort’s part in this year’s Japanese/America Society of Kentucky’s Exchange Program as well as the original pieces in our Voices Section.

So, as we do love to say around here at Capital Living… pull up a comfortable chair, pour yourself an ice cold glass of something and ENJOY!
